Please read these terms carefully before using PepKey.
Last updated: April 7, 2026By accessing or using any part of the PepKey website (pepkey.org), platform, API, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and PepKey, Inc. ("PepKey," "we," "us," or "our"), a California corporation.
If you are accessing the Services on behalf of an organization (such as a medical practice, clinic, or pharmacy), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and all references to "you" include that organization.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use paid features of the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
PepKey operates a transparency-focused platform for the peptide therapy market. Our Services include:
An independently curated database of 7,362 peptide therapy providers across the United States. Each provider receives a PepKey Trust Score based on independently verifiable signals including NPI verification, Google review data, claimed listing status, and content completeness. Scores are calculated algorithmically and updated regularly. The directory is publicly accessible at no cost.
Registered providers may claim their listings and access a provider dashboard to update their profile, view lead analytics, and access subscription features. The PepKey Clinic™ suite is currently in development and not yet live. When launched, it will offer clinic management tools including anonymous patient medication tracking, pre-visit questionnaires, charting templates, inventory management, and encrypted cloud backup.
The PepKey patient-facing app (currently in development) enables patients to access their treatment records, log dose adherence, and communicate with their clinic provider — all using an anonymous PKP ID system that does not collect or store any identifying patient information on PepKey servers.
A planned directory and scoring platform for compounding pharmacies providing peptide compounds. When launched, will include license verification, Certificate of Analysis (COA) tracking, and transparency scoring. This feature is not yet live.
A programmatic API providing tiered access to provider data, trust scores, and platform analytics. API access is governed by the rate limits and field access rules associated with your subscription tier. See the API documentation for full details.
Healthcare providers may register an account using a valid email address to claim their listing, access the provider dashboard, and subscribe to paid plans. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify PepKey immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Provider accounts must be registered by a licensed healthcare provider or authorized representative of the practice. Providing false or misleading information during registration is grounds for account termination.
Patients do not create accounts with PepKey. Patient access to the PepKey patient app is facilitated through an anonymous PKP ID issued by the patient's clinic. PepKey does not collect, store, or process any information that would enable identification of individual patients. See our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Disclosure for full details.
Pharmacies may register an account to claim their listing, submit COA documentation, and access pharmacy dashboard features. Pharmacy accounts must be registered by an authorized representative of a licensed compounding pharmacy.
PepKey reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the safety, integrity, or reputation of the platform. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable prior to termination.
PepKey offers the following subscription tiers for providers and API users:

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize PepKey to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. All prices are in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.
Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless canceled before the next billing cycle. Annual billing may be available at a discounted rate — contact [email protected] for details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of your paid period.
Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 30 days at [email protected] and we will review your request. PepKey reserves the sole discretion to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis. We do not provide partial-month refunds upon cancellation.
You may upgrade your plan at any time — the upgrade takes effect immediately and you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
PepKey Trust Scores are calculated using a transparent, published methodology available at pepkey.org/methodology.html. Scores are based on independently verifiable signals including: NPI verification against the NPPES federal registry, Google review data, claimed listing status, content completeness, and review recency. Scores range from 0–10.
Trust Scores are calculated independently by PepKey's algorithm. Scores are not affected by advertising spend, subscription tier, or any commercial relationship with PepKey, except that claimed listings receive a score component reflecting the verification benefit of claiming. A provider cannot purchase a higher score.
A high PepKey Trust Score is a transparency assessment, not a medical endorsement. It reflects the availability and consistency of verifiable information about a provider — not the quality of their clinical care, the appropriateness of their treatments, or their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. PepKey does not recommend or endorse specific providers.
Providers may claim their PepKey listing to verify their identity, update information, and improve their score through enhanced completeness. Claiming a listing is subject to identity verification. Providers who claim listings warrant that the information they provide is accurate and not misleading.
If you believe your Trust Score contains a factual error, you may submit a dispute to [email protected] with documentation supporting the correction. PepKey will review disputes within 14 business days. We reserve the right to accept or reject disputes at our sole discretion. We will not change scores based on commercial pressure, threats, or requests unaccompanied by supporting evidence.
Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
PepKey's architecture is specifically designed so that identifiable patient health information (PHI) never reaches our servers. Patient data in the PepKey Clinic and patient app systems is stored against anonymous PKP IDs only. The mapping between a PKP ID and a real patient identity is maintained exclusively on clinic devices. For a detailed explanation, see our HIPAA Disclosure.
PepKey may use de-identified, aggregated data derived from platform usage for analytics, research, and product improvement. This data cannot be used to identify individual patients, providers, or pharmacies. By using the Services, you consent to this use of de-identified data.
By claiming a listing or creating a provider account, you grant PepKey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your business information (name, practice name, contact information, credentials, services) in the PepKey directory and through our API. You represent that you own or have the right to provide this information.
You agree not to use the Services to:
Violations of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination, rate limiting, legal action, or reporting to applicable regulatory bodies.
"PepKey™" is a trademark of PepKey, Inc. "PepKey Clinic™" is a trademark of PepKey, Inc. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent, except as reasonably necessary to describe your use of the Services (e.g., "Powered by PepKey data").
All content on the PepKey platform — including the website design, scoring methodology documentation, peptide library content, educational materials, and the trust scoring algorithm — is the intellectual property of PepKey, Inc. and is protected by United States copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.
By submitting content to PepKey (such as provider profile information, photos, or descriptions), you grant PepKey a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Services. You represent that you have the rights to submit such content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable subscription fees, PepKey grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the API to retrieve provider data for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. Data obtained through the API must be used in accordance with the API documentation and may not be resold, redistributed, or used to build a competing provider directory.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or feature requests to PepKey, you grant us an unrestricted, royalty-free license to use such feedback without any obligation to compensate you.
PepKey does NOT:
PepKey Trust Scores are transparency assessments based on publicly verifiable information. A high Trust Score means the provider has more independently verifiable transparency signals — it is not a clinical endorsement and does not mean the provider's treatments are appropriate for your specific situation.
Peptide therapy involves medications that may be compounded, experimental, or not FDA-approved for specific indications. You should consult with a qualified, licensed healthcare provider before starting, changing, or stopping any treatment. The presence of a provider in the PepKey directory does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement of that provider's services.
Always consult a licensed healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PEPKEY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SUPPLIERS (COLLECTIVELY, "PEPKEY PARTIES") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF PEPKEY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF THE PEPKEY PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO PEPKEY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. PEPKEY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. PEPKEY DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PepKey and the PepKey Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
PepKey reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense. You agree to cooperate with PepKey's defense of any such claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with PepKey informally by contacting us at [email protected] with a description of the dispute and your proposed resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days of receipt.
Any cause of action or claim you may have arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues; otherwise, such cause of action or claim is permanently barred.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
PepKey reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and cancel your subscription before the effective date.
For non-material changes (such as typographical corrections, clarifications, or changes required by law), we may update the Terms without prior notice.
