COA verification policy
How PepKey verifies pharmacy COAs before public credit
PepKey is built to protect patients and clinicians from unsupported peptide quality claims. A Certificate of Analysis is not treated as public evidence until the source and lot relationship are verified.
Current registry status: PepKey's public COA registry is paused while historical records are source-reviewed. Paused records are not public, not counted as confirmed, and do not give pharmacy or provider credit.
What counts as source-verified
- The COA is submitted by the pharmacy, manufacturer, or an authorized representative with accountable contact information.
- The lot number, peptide name, test date, and lab identity are internally consistent.
- Verification status is recorded separately from upload status, so a submitted file does not automatically become a public claim.
What does not count
- Sample data, demo rows, screenshots without source context, copied marketing claims, or unverified third-party uploads.
- Records that cannot be tied back to the submitting pharmacy or source.
Public display and credit
Only source-verified COAs should appear in public registry results or contribute to trust scoring. If PepKey cannot verify the source, the record stays private or rejected until reviewed.
